Qi (chee) is energy and our life force. Think Einstein's formula: E=MC². In Dragon's Way Qigong,® we will learn how to gather more Qi from different sources, and smooth out our meridian paths so Qi can flow freely through our body and bring our body and digestive organs into balance.
There are five elements that are associated with our digestive organs, the seasons, and our emotions. Earth, Metal, Wood, Fire, Water. We will discover how these five elements influence our health and wellness and learn how to interpret and apply them all year in all seasons to achieve balance in
body, mind, and spirit.
The Wu Ming Meridian Therapy is a meditative program that includes nine gentle forms (meridian stretches) and one standing meditation form that will pave the way for free-flowing Qi and improve balance, strength, and flexibility. The best part is that no special equipment is needed and you do not need to go to a gym or studio. Once you learn these postures, you can take them anywhere and practice them anytime. Forever!
There is no calorie counting or food weighing in Dragon's Way Qigong.® We simply identify those foods and herbs that boost the body's ability to heal itself, leading to improved health, weight loss, better sleep patterns, and a more balanced lifestyle.
Emotions can wreak havoc on our health. We discuss the five primary emotions that can block or reduce our Qi flow, and offer ways to cope, avoid, or lessen their impact on the health of our body, mind, and spirit.
Qi exists throughout the Universe. Energy vibrations are everywhere and they connect to our own Qi vibrations. Positive attracts positive. So, adopting a pleasant view of life and finding our inner smile adds to our own good Qi for a life in balance and harmony.
